INSTALL THE GEARS EXECUTABLE CODE
GEARS distribution runs with any Windows version. But Java Version 7 must be installed.
Here is the procedure to install GEARS software under Windows:
- Download the file: GEARS.exe
- Install the file Gears.exe in your desktop
- Download Java Version 7 at the following web site: http://www.java.com/
- Install Java Version 7 on your computer
- Run Gears.exe by clicking on the Icon
- GEARS software will be installed in: Program File or Program (Windows 8) under the directory:
GEARS Conflict Resolution Demonstrator
- Go to the directory GEARS Conflict Resolution Demonstrator
- Read the file readme.doc to run GEARS software
